Another packed day of great speakers.

some tidbits:

Higher Omega-3 levels are associated with 25% less Dementia/Alzheimer’s, or better brain health and function, as well as lower risk of cardiovascular heart disease.

Japanese have 1/4 the rate of prostate cancer than westerners…it’s the soy. Vitamin D can reduce prostate cancer by 30% and 68% of men with prostate cancer are deficient.  Start taking 4,000 units/day. “Zyflamend” herbal supplement has been shown to reduce CRP by 32%, and also reduces PSA levels. Prostate cancer relapse patients given lycopenes (tomato paste is highest in this) and soy had stabilized PSA levels. POM pomegranate juice of 1 glass daily has extended the life in prostate cancer patients significantly.

Best thing for prostate cancer patients? no red meat, no dairy. More broccoli and kale. 2-4 cups of green tea daily, lose weight if overweight, do yoga, take Vit D, Zyflomend, and drink POM.

Coconut oil is GOOD, especially for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease….need it to help fix the mitochondria in these diseases.

Environmental exposures…. are numerous. Check the list on the internet for the more risky vs the safer foods, also known as the dirty dozen and the clean fifteen. And never store your food in plastic, always use glass.

Did you know that walking just 1.5 mph for a short time after eating a meal can lower you post-prandial blood sugar by HALF of what it would have been!
